Rules for Avatars and Signatures

You are allowed to have avatars, signatures, and profiles, but if you want to keep them, you have to follow these rules:

- Avatar dimensions : Your avatar's width must not exceed 150 pixels and its height must not exceed 200 pîxels. These limits are here to avoid scrolling for people who have a low screen resolution. You must also respect the limit of weight which is fixed to 300 KB. There are still people who have a low-speed connection, and heavy pictures take time to load for them.

- Signature dimensions : Your signature must not exceed 640 x 480 pixels, or 34 lines (on default font and size), otherwise it will be a complete waste of space and will add more than required space to your post. Again, this is to avoid scrolling for users with a small screen resolution. Also, the size must not exceed 3 MB.

- Your avatar and signature is not an advertising banner, so avatars and signatures with a website URL must be avoided.

- S**ually oriented and gore avatars/signatures must be avoided : Some children go on this forum, and the last thing that they'd probably want to see is a p***ographic or gory avatar/signature.

If you do not follow these rules, you might either have your avatar/signature modified, or have your avatar/signature taken away, the time depending on the severity.
